Biography: Roseanne Kibblewhite

I was born and raised in Hamilton and moved to Auckland to work and study, before making my escape to beautiful Marlborough in the top of the South Island, New Zealand. I have always been a very creative person, doing all types of arts and crafts, studied Architecture and practiced in Auckland until I rediscovered my true passion in painting. After being awarded an art scholarship to study at the Learning Connexion, I left work as a commercial architect to study and paint full time. In my paintings I am inspired by natural elements and present them in abstract forms. Being a mum with small children at home I have made a switch to ink and pencil allowing me to work for short periods of time around my children, who very much influence my current work.

I use bright, bold colours on watercolour paper, using Artist grade Rembrandt Polycolour pencils with pebeo encre de chine indian ink. All ink and pencil works are presented in matt board (unless stated otherwise) and wrapped in clear cellophane.

I am happy to be contacted directly regarding commissions or direct sales. I update the images regularly, so keep checking the site if you are interested in seeing my latest works.
